Serbian Prime Minister Juro Matsut said that the country would not impose sanctions against Russia. He stated this on July 25 at a meeting dedicated to the 100 days of work of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"As for foreign policy, I would like to emphasize once again that as long as I am prime minister, we will not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation," Matsuta was quoted as saying by RT Balkan.

The Serbian Prime Minister also noted that his policy would be aimed at protecting the territory and population of Kosovo and Metohija.

Earlier, on June 30, Matsut announced that he was ready to visit Moscow and discuss specific projects in the fields of economics, energy, tourism, security and foreign policy. He also promised not to allow Serbian weapons to be sent to Ukraine or any other country from where they could be transferred to Kiev.
