Trump announced the possible conclusion of a trade deal with the UK
US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer may reach a trade deal between the countries during negotiations. This was reported on July 25 by the Reuters news agency with reference to the head of the White House.
"Trump said that he and Starmer would discuss the US—UK trade agreement and perhaps even 'improve' it, but did not go into details," the publication says.
He added that the United States also intends to reach a similar agreement with the European Union (EU). According to the American leader, European countries are "very interested" in the deal.
"With the EU, I think we have a good chance — 50-50. This is already quite a lot," he also said, answering questions from journalists.
On July 23, Trump announced the imminent achievement of a trade deal between the United States and China. According to him, the countries are in the process of completing negotiations.
Earlier in the day, Trump announced that the United States had concluded a "winning" trade deal with Indonesia for American manufacturers, according to which Jakarta's goods would be subject to a duty of 19%, and Washington would sell its products at a zero rate.
