On July 25, the Vietnam Culture Festival, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam, started in Moscow on Manezhnaya Square. The event is held within the framework of the urban project "Summer in Moscow".

It is specified that the opening ceremony of the festival was attended by the wife of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ngo Phuong Lee, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Russia, Dang Minh Khoi, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Andrei Yatskin.

"Thank you so much for coming and supporting me. I think the event today is very interesting. We are trying to show Vietnam, <...> to show the course of the history of relations between Vietnam and Russia," said Dang Minh Khoi.

Themed areas have been set up on the square: guests can listen to musical instruments of Vietnam, learn how to cook traditional Vietnamese pho bo noodles, spring rolls and green rice sweets, as well as watch puppet theater performances. Demonstrations of Vietnamese dances and martial arts will also be held as part of the festival.

"We witnessed vivid artistic performances performed by our dear guests and artists from Vietnam," said the host of the event.

Earlier, on July 24, it was reported that the Our in the City festival, which will feature popular songs from previous years, will be held on the territory of the capital's Moskino Film Park. The event will be held on July 26 and 27. 20 popular artists will perform on two stages at the venue. Among them is musician Nike Borzov, the bands Leningrad, Pilot and Chaif. The Globalis orchestra will also perform in front of the audience, presenting popular compositions in an unusual arrangement.
