Journalist and blogger Dmitry Kolezev was added to the list of terrorists and extremists

Journalist Dmitry Kolezev (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) was added to the register of terrorists and extremists. The relevant information appeared on the Rosfinmonitoring website on July 25.

"Dmitry Evgenievich Kolezev, born on 12/14/1984, Kamensk-Uralsky, Krasnogorsk district, Sverdlovsk region," the list says.

Kolezev is a Russian journalist, former editor-in-chief of the Republic (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign media agent).

On August 6, 2024, a court sentenced Kolezev in absentia to seven and a half years in prison for faking information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He was convicted in absentia because he is not in Russia. The person involved has been put on the international wanted list.
