For the first time in three years, a decrease in car dealership contracts was noted in the Russian Federation

At the beginning of the second quarter of 2025, the maximum number of dealer contracts with distributors of passenger cars was recorded in Russia — 4,516 units. By the beginning of July, this indicator had decreased by 183 units. — up to 4,333 units . The number of contracts began to decline actively for the first time in three years, said Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, in his Telegram channel on July 25.

As of the beginning of 2025, there were 4,302 contracts with distributors of passenger cars, a year ago (in July 2024) the number was 3,911 units. There was also a decrease in the number of dealerships in the quarter to 2,985 units (-97 units). The number of locations in the quarter decreased by 41, to 2,104 postal addresses.

The list of leaders among automobile holdings in terms of the number of dealer contracts for July 2025 includes Major (134 units), Agat (109 units), Avtomir (102 units) and Trantekhservice (101 units).

"Klyuchavto suffered the biggest losses in the falling market. A year ago, he had 126 contracts with distributors of passenger cars. By the beginning of this year, the number of contracts had decreased to 90, and by July there were only 36 left," said Tselikov.
