The head of the Silk Road pointed to the growth of participants and fans of the rally

Every year, the number of riders and fans at the Silk Road Rally is increasing. This was announced on Friday, July 25, by Vladimir Chagin, head of the rally, to Izvestia.

"It's great that the army of fans and participants of the Silk Road is growing every year. This means that we are doing something that people are interested in, and the most important thing is satisfaction and gratitude," said Chagin.

The head of the rally raid also expressed his gratitude to the authorities of Russia and Mongolia for organizing and holding the competition.

"We've done months of work, 11 days of the race itself. And I want to thank, first of all, the governments of the two countries — Russia and Mongolia — for all the decisions that were taken on time and implemented, and all the authorities of both countries," Chagin said.

The 15th Silk Road in history took place from July 10 to 22, starting in Irkutsk and finishing in Gorno-Altaysk. The rally-raid route passed through Russia and Mongolia.

On the same day, Chagin announced that the Silk Road plans to expand the geography of the route in the future. According to him, so far the road of the participants runs only through two countries, but an increase in the route is present in the plans.
