Four residents of Transbaikalia gave 3.4 million rubles to fraudsters

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, four people suffered from the actions of false brokers. The total damage exceeded 3.4 million rubles.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, the master of installing stretch ceilings met a girl on the Internet who offered to receive a high return on investment. The man installed the app, created a personal account and contacted the broker. At first, he "invested" a small amount and was able to make a profit. Then a resident of Transbaikalia decided to increase the amount of investments and used credit funds.

Soon, the victim was contacted by a woman who introduced herself as an employee of the investment platform's security service. To withdraw funds, she suggested that the man find a partner. Then the victim turned to his friends, who issued credit cards and transferred money to third-party accounts. An inspection is being carried out on this fact.

In Moscow, a pensioner lost her apartment and more than 20 million rubles due to fraud. The scammers convinced the victim that a fraudulent attack was being carried out on her accounts, in connection with which she transferred the savings to an outside account, and also sold the property.
