Traffic control system to be installed in the center of Pskov

Another complex of photo and video fixation will be installed in the central part of Pskov in the near future. Such plans were announced at a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on road safety on urban highways, held on Friday, July 25.

The device will be placed at the intersection of Oktyabrsky Prospekt and Metallistov Street. According to Vladimir Kirillov, a representative of the Pskov branch of the State Traffic Inspectorate, this site is considered a "pre-focal" place. Pedestrians who were crossing an unregulated crossing over Oktyabrsky Prospekt were shot down there.

Earlier, it was decided to install a similar complex that fixes the non-admission of pedestrians. Kirillov suggested determining whether the T7 traffic light is needed in this place or not, the Pskov News Feed writes.

In mid-June, it was reported that the road surface on the Alexander Nevsky Bridge over the Velikaya River would be repaired in Pskov. The cost of the work will amount to 345 million rubles.
