Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of its readiness to resume negotiations on the nuclear program at the technical level. This was reported on July 25 by the Reuters news agency, citing the agency's CEO, Rafael Grossi.

"Iran has made it clear that it is ready to resume technical negotiations on its nuclear program with the UN nuclear monitoring body," the publication says.

According to Reuters, the IAEA expressed the need to obtain permission to resume the inspection after the Israeli and US airstrikes aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear program and depriving the republic of the ability to create nuclear weapons.

Earlier, on July 24, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced the resumption of Iranian-American negotiations if the United States accepts the rights of the Islamic Republic under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Prior to that, on July 23, he stressed that Iran wants to be sure that no new American strikes will follow after the start of negotiations.
