A memorial service for the victims of the AN-24 plane crash is being held in the church of the city of Tynda, Amur region. A video from the scene of the July 25 event is published by Izvestia.
People came to the church for a prayer service to honor the memory of the dead and to put candles. Earlier, the authorities of the Amur region declared three days of mourning in connection with the plane crash.
The AN-24 passenger plane crashed in the Amur region, 15 km from the city of Tynda on July 24. When the aircraft was flying on the Khabarovsk – Blagoveshchensk – Tynda route, communication with it was lost. Later, his burning fuselage was found on the ground. All passengers and crew members were killed.
Earlier that day, the governor of the Amur Region, Vasily Orlov, flew to Tynda, near which the crash occurred. He added that investigative actions are currently being carried out at the crash site. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation later added that flight recorders were found at the crash site of the AN-24.
