- Ionosphere-M satellites launched from Vostochny successfully launched into orbit
Two Ionosphere-M spacecraft were launched into orbit after the launch of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle from the Vostochny cosmodrome. This was announced on July 25 by the Roscosmos State Corporation.
"Ionosphere-M devices No. 3 and No. 4, launched from Vostochny, were delivered to a preset orbit and separated from the Fregat upper stage," the state corporation's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the upper stage continued to launch 18 small satellites into orbit.
Earlier that day, Roskomos reported that a successful launch of the Soyuz-2.1b rocket took place at the Vostochny cosmodrome. The devices on board the rocket are designed to study the ionosphere, electromagnetic fields and the composition of the Earth's atmosphere.
