A friend of the victim of the An-24 crash told about the events before the plane crash

Yuri Sadkov, who died in the crash of the An-24 aircraft in the Amur region, called his mother shortly before departure and said that they were planning to delay the flight. This was told by a friend of the deceased Dmitry Garcu in an interview with Izvestia on Friday, July 25.

"About the condition of the plane — he (Sadkov. — Ed.) landed in Blagoveshchensk, the plane flew through Blagoveshchensk. He called his mom and said that, like, the flight was delayed, they promised that they (passengers — Ed.) would be checked into a hotel and the flight would be rescheduled for the day. But as a result, they took off and did not reach," Garcu said.

According to a friend of the deceased, he found out about Sadkov's death by chance when he saw the lists of the dead on social networks.

"He was a very good man, he was my close friend," Garcu shared.

The AN-24 passenger plane crashed in the Amur region 15 km from the city of Tynda on July 24. The aircraft was flying on the Khabarovsk – Blagoveshchensk –Tynda route when communication with it was lost. Later, his burning fuselage was found on the ground. All passengers and crew members were killed.

On July 25, a memorial was organized in Blagoveshchensk in memory of those killed in the crash of the AN-24.
