Russian military personnel attacked the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kherson region. This was announced on July 25 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Today, an accurate airstrike was carried out on the building of the former Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kherson. At the time of the attack, a meeting of AFU officers and representatives of the Ukrainian police who arrived from Mykolaiv was taking place inside," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Saldo noted that during the strike, the bus in which the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trying to evacuate was destroyed.
