EU countries will impose anti-Russian sanctions every three months, so the 19th package should be agreed in October. This was stated to Izvestia by Tomasz Zdechowski, a member of the European Parliament.

"After 3.5 years of military operations, we have introduced the 18th package of sanctions. There will be a new package of restrictions every three months until Russia stops its aggression," Zdechowski said.

The European Union is dependent on sanctions, like people who are addicted to alcohol or drugs, says MEP Thierry Mariani.

"On the one hand, there is the United States, which is interested in peace, and on the other, the EU, which wants to continue the conflict. New sanctions may well be introduced in October," Mariani said.

However, the restrictions will not be able to affect the Russian economy of the Russian Federation. In addition, anti—Russian restrictions are not a provocation only against the Russian Federation, but also against other countries of the world that cooperate with Moscow, says MEP Ivan David. The sanctions, he said, irritate, for example, banks and transport companies from China and other countries.
