The overpass through the tracks of the MCD-2 in the south-west of Moscow is already a third ready.

The overpass through the MCD-2 railway on the final section of the Solntsevo– Butovo–Varshavskoye Highway is one-third ready. This was announced on Thursday, July 24, by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the suspension of the superstructure has begun, writes NSN. The fifth section of the highway runs from Polyana Street to Varshavskoye Highway. There are three underground and three aboveground pedestrian crossings, a tunnel, an overpass and an overpass.

Sobyanin noted that after the site is put into operation, the load on major highways will decrease and communication between the Yuzhnoye and Severnoye Butovo districts, as well as with the Moscow Region, will improve, Moscow 24 notes.

He recalled that since 2011, more than 100 overpasses have been built and reconstructed in Moscow, which has increased the connectivity of the street and road network, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
