Serbian President Alexander Vucic on Thursday, July 24, expressed his condolences to the Russian people and the country's leadership after the crash of the An-24 passenger plane of Angara Airlines in the Amur region.
"On my own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Serbia, I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the entire Russian people," Vucic wrote on his page on the social network X (former. Twitter).
The Serbian leader called the feelings of the relatives of the victims moments of unspeakable sorrow.
The AN-24 passenger plane crashed on July 24 in the Amur region, 15 km from the city of Tynda. The aircraft was flying on the Khabarovsk – Blagoveshchensk –Tynda route and stopped communicating. Later, his burning fuselage was found on the ground. All passengers and crew members were killed.
A criminal case has been opened. Among the versions of the crash, the investigation considers a technical malfunction and a human factor.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the families and friends of those who died in the crash. At the beginning of the meeting on the development of the submarine forces of the Navy, the Head of State announced a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
