The crash site of the AN-24 passenger plane in the Amur region continues to smoke. Aerial footage on Thursday, July 24, is published by Izvestia.

Numerous pieces of the aircraft are scattered through the forest, some of which are still burning and smoking. Emergency services are already working at the scene.

The AN-24 passenger plane crashed on the same day 15 km from Tynda in the Amur region. The aircraft was en route Khabarovsk – Blagoveshchensk – Tynda and stopped communicating.A regional emergency regime was introduced in the Amur Region and three days of mourning were declared. The Investigative Committee of Russia confirmed the deaths of all those on board the aircraft.

A criminal case has been opened into the loss of communication with the crashed plane. A technical malfunction and a human factor are considered as a version of the incident.

On the same day, it became known that the crashed plane had been involved in four aviation incidents since 2018. Izvestia also reported that the aviation authorities had maintenance claims against Angara Airlines, which owns the crashed plane. Investigators are working in the company's office.
