Lada cars will receive a new propane modification. The project is being implemented by the ATS group of companies from Tolyatti, which is AvtoVAZ's partner in creating methane (CNG) modifications of the Largus and Vesta models, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported on July 24.

It is not yet known which models will be equipped with propane cylinders, but the equipment is being tested on Lada Granta. The capacity of the gas cylinder is 42 liters.

Alexey Suchkov, Director of ATS Group of Companies, said that the company expects to convert at least 100-200 vehicles to propane, but much depends on demand. The factory propane version will be more expensive than the gasoline version by about 50 thousand rubles.
