A regular bus burned down in Podolsk city district. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region on Thursday, July 24.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at about 12:00 on the 32nd km of the M2 Crimean highway (backup).
"The driver, born in 1977, driving a LiAZ bus, stopped due to a malfunction. After that, there was smoke, and then a vehicle parked on the side of the road caught fire," the department told the Moscow city News agency.
The Moscow regional headquarters clarified that there were no passengers on the bus. Traffic police officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
