Russian schoolchildren won five medals at the Physics Olympiad in Paris

Russian schoolchildren have won three gold and two silver medals at the 55th International Physics Olympiad in Paris. This was reported on July 24 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

"With your successes, you are making a significant contribution to the popularization of physics. I am sure that you have every chance to play a significant role in achieving the technological leadership of our country," Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education, congratulated the students with these words.

Gold medals were awarded: Grigory Grechkin (School of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence), Mikhail Aronov and Ivan Lukin (P.L.Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum). Silver medals went to Egor Krivoshchekov (Lyceum No. 124), Pavel Rukovchuk (P.L.Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum).

On July 13, four Russian schoolchildren won gold medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad, which was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was noted that Fyodor Kuznetsov scored 86.7 points out of a possible 100, Viktor Demidov — 85.3, Vladimir Elistratov — 81.7, and Konstantin Gunko — 76.7.
