Wild boars scare visitors to the cemetery in Novorossiysk
In Novorossiysk, at the Kabakhakha-1 cemetery, a herd of wild boars roams freely among the graves. Animals scare cemetery visitors and do not allow them to approach the graves.
According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, the cemetery is closed for burials, but it is open to the public. The area is heavily overgrown with grass. But the main problem is wild animals.
Residents are outraged that the cemetery, where veterans and workers who rebuilt the city after the war are buried, is in disrepair.
Meanwhile, the city administration claims that relatives of the deceased are responsible for the maintenance of the graves. The city administration monitors the condition of the territory. And the animals escaped from one of the local farms. If the owners of the farm are not found, the wild boars will be captured within the framework of regional legislation.
At the end of June, it was reported that cows had ravaged one of the rural cemeteries in the Lipetsk region. According to residents of the village of Bolshaya Kireevka, cattle are constantly grazing at the local cemetery. The farmer does not tie the cows, so they walk around the neighborhood. Last year, four monuments were toppled at the cemetery, and this year — two already. All appeals to the owner of the animals are useless, the police and the administration are powerless.
