Streets named after nationalists were renamed in Odessa region
In the Vladimir-Volyn community of the Odessa region, streets bearing the names of Ukrainian nationalists Roman Shukhevych and Yuri Lipa were renamed. This was reported on July 24 by the Ukrainian portal Dumskaya.
"Streets have been renamed in the Odessa region <...> Shukhevych and Lipa. Streets of the Dalnikovskaya community <... They were given "neutral names," the article says.
According to the head of the community, Sergey Krutyuk, the change of names is dictated by "insufficient solidity of rural streets."
