A plane carrying Russian servicemen who returned from captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) landed in the Moscow region. This was announced on Thursday, July 24, by a correspondent of Izvestia.

"I had a cross and it was taken away. Why was it taken away? Orthodox — Russian. You don't have to wear a cross, that's all. They pulled him off his neck and threw him somewhere," a fighter with the call sign Partos told Izvestia correspondent Vladislav Kharchenko.

On July 23, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian Federation and Ukraine conducted a prisoner exchange, which took place on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

On the same day, Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian delegation, said that all the humanitarian agreements of the second round of negotiations between the parties had been fulfilled. As part of the agreements, Russia returned to Ukraine more than 7 thousand bodies of dead servicemen.
