CDT reported the deaths of six people in China due to an accident at the enterprise.
In China, six people fell into the water and drowned due to an accident at an industrial plant. This was reported on July 23 by local media China Digital Times (CDT).
"Six students of Northeastern University, while at the copper-molybdenum mine processing plant, <...> studied flotation technology. As a result of the fall of the ore grid, they fell into the flotation tank," the publication says.
The incident occurred in the Hulun-Buir Urban District of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After carrying out rescue operations, the bodies of the students were brought to the surface, but medical workers were forced only to declare their death.
It is noted that one of the teachers was also injured in the incident. Currently, specialists are carrying out work to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
Earlier, on May 27, five people became victims of an explosion at a chemical plant in Shandong Province in eastern China. It is specified that 19 people were slightly injured.
