What happens if Vasily Ivanovich, the charismatic new Russian, the ironic mother-in-law and the Chukchi find themselves in modern Moscow? Alexey Uchitel's cult film "The Walk", which premiered in 2003, is being re-released. A girl and her two random companions walk through half of St. Petersburg, flirting, sparring and living a love drama for an hour and a half in real time. This walk, filled with laughter and tears, the mundane bustle of the street and some almost sinister mystery, keeps the viewer in constant suspense, but resolves completely unexpectedly.

And if this is a chance for director Valeria Shamina to make a big profit, then for her best career specialist and practicing psychologist Elena Ostrovskaya, Jamal becomes a real problem. He negates all her professional achievements, openly ridicules the prudery of academic methods of work, and even affects her personal life.

Boris Eifman staged "Russian Hamlet" in 1999 to the music of Beethoven and Mahler. The premiere of the play took place during the troupe's tour in Warsaw. In February 2000, the ballet was presented in Russia at the Bolshoi Theatre. In "Russian Hamlet," the choreographer turned to the figure of Paul I, one of the most mysterious and controversial characters in Russian history. Eifman brilliantly portrayed the tragic confrontation of an extraordinary and mentally fragile personality with a hostile world built on violence, treachery and lies.

The St. Petersburg Ballet Theater named after Leonid Yakobson will present the program "Brilliant Divertissement", consisting of choreographic miniatures and one-act ballets by the founder of the troupe. "The effect of an exploding bomb" is what American ballet historian Jane Ross called her fundamental study of Leonid Yakobson's work, noting that these were the words used by his former colleagues to characterize the phenomenon in the ballet world of Jacobson. This effect is still produced by the master's work — with an original composition, a unique plastic cantilena, a combination of pure dance with a plot and a fantastically honed performance by young artists, to whom the legacy was passed down so carefully that it did not fade over the years.

One of the most famous dance theaters in the Middle East, founded by Abdel Halim Karakal from Lebanon, closes the program of the Chekhov Festival with his performance. "One Thousand and One Nights" is a trilogy combining music and ballet. The famous music of Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade is played in the first act. The viewer is immersed in the world of the mysterious east, where passions are boiling at the court of the majestic Shahriyar, which determine the fate of the king. In the second act, Ravel's "Bolero" is played with sitar and Persian tar. The third part of the play addresses heritage and traditions and takes the action to the caravanserai.

Landscape in Western European painting of the XVII–XVIII centuries, 0+

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts will present an exhibition in Ples. The exhibition showcases works by masters from Italy, France, Holland, Flanders, and Germany and introduces various forms of landscape painting during its heyday. The project, curated by Igor Ponosov, an artist and researcher of the urban environment, is dedicated to understanding urban everyday life through contemporary art. The exhibition rethinks the visual code of the Russian city — eclectic, multi-layered, vulnerable and at the same time filled with the potential for creative dialogue. In the museum's space, it will appear as a place with a rigidly defined infrastructure and consumer behavior scenarios, where there is less and less space for genuine creativity. A significant part of the exhibition consists of works provided by Street Art Storage.

The show features marine mammals, inhabitants of the Moskvarium, as well as more than a hundred artists working in various genres: aerialists and acrobats, professional actors and dancers. II Saint Petersburg Jazz Festival, 6+

The final concerts of the international jazz festival under the direction of Igor Butman will be held in St. Petersburg.
