VTB will finance the construction of the first private recreation park in the Chelyabinsk region

VTB will provide developer PJSC APRI with preferential financing in the amount of 7.2 billion rubles for the construction of the first private recreation park in the Chelyabinsk Region, FanPark, the bank's press service said.

"Concessional lending to tourism projects plays a significant role in the development of regions and improving the quality of life of their residents. The state program is in high demand from industry representatives: in 2025, we approved more than 50 tourism projects worth over 128 billion rubles. Thanks to such opportunities, unique objects are being created that reveal the natural and cultural wealth of Russia, contributing to the formation of new tourist attractions. This not only stimulates the economy and creates jobs, but also helps strengthen the image of cities as attractive for recreation and investment," said Ruslan Eremenko, a member of the VTB Board.

"We expect that our first private park will occupy a worthy place on the map of Russia's leading tourist sites and will become a powerful driver of economic development in the Chelyabinsk Region," said Sergey Shal, CEO of PJSC APRI.

The largest project for the region under the federal preferential loan program has been approved by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The total cost of the project will be 18 billion rubles. According to VTB, the project will create new jobs, attract additional investments and expand tourist and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors of the region. The potential tourist traffic is estimated at 2 million visitors per month.
