Lada cars can get the function of opening the trunk by voice

Lada cars may have an engine autorun system and a function for opening the luggage compartment by voice control. This was reported on July 23 by Autonews with reference to Artem Bakhrakh, director of the AvtoVAZ digital services project.

It is assumed that the remote engine start system will be integrated into the Lada Connect application, which was presented along with the new Lada Iskra. Autorun is currently in a high state of readiness, and specialists are fine-tuning the systems.

According to Bakhrach, AvtoVAZ expects to introduce an autorun system in 2026. The company also plans to expand the functionality of voice control so that users can open the trunk or turn on the lights on Lada cars.
