Since the beginning of 2025, six road accidents involving wild animals have been recorded on the roads of the Tula region. This was reported on July 23 by TSN24 with reference to the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
As a result of six accidents involving animals, seven people were injured. Another person died.
The traffic police noted that wild animals are most active at dawn and dusk. To avoid a collision or minimize its consequences, motorists are advised to be especially careful in the area of the "Wild Animals" sign, slow down, especially at night, and monitor the road and roadsides.
On May 1, a VAZ–2115 collided with a moose on the Arsenievo-Litvinovo highway in the Tula region. The impact sent the car flying off the roadway and overturned into a ditch. The 18-year-old driver of the fifteenth was killed.
