The expert explained the importance of a balance between saving and spending money

The active involvement of young people in the financial sector and an easy attitude towards money can lead to serious risks. In order to avoid being deceived by scammers, it is necessary to use critical thinking. Anna Karpycheva, an independent financial adviser and business coach, shared this belief with Izvestia on July 23.

"We need to find a balance between a super conservative approach, when "I will keep the money under my pillow so that no one steals it from me," and they lie there, depreciating. And between, on the contrary, a super-easy attitude to money, when a person heard that they were promising some kind of high yield, and decided to invest all their savings there," she explained.

According to the expert, an analysis of the experience of different generations will be a good help for competent handling of money. It is clarified that older people tend to save money, save for a rainy day and worry more about savings. At the same time, the younger generation, in turn, tends to live "here and now," so they are more prone to reckless spending, Karpycheva noted.

"Therefore, it is especially important for different generations to communicate and enrich each other. Everyone has their own positive aspects and things that slow down and hinder development," concluded the independent financial adviser.
