The Mirage-2000 fighter jet handed over to the Ukrainian side by France sank in a swamp after crashing in the Volyn region. This was reported on July 23 in the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) of Ukraine.

"The plane crashed in a deserted area and sank into a flooded crater in a swampy area," the agency's Telegram channel says.

On the eve of the Ukrainian Air Force (AF) reported that the Mirage-2000 fighter crashed during a flight mission in the country. It was noted that there was a failure of aviation equipment. As a result of the crash, no one was injured on the ground.
