US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, July 22, expressed doubt about Kiev's use of all funds transferred by Washington to buy weapons.
He stressed that former American leader Joe Biden had given Ukraine $350 billion in money or military equipment.
"It was assumed that they (the Ukrainian authorities. They will buy their own equipment, but I have a feeling that they haven't spent every dollar on equipment," he said during a meeting with Republican lawmakers at the White House, which was broadcast by Fox News.
Trump stressed that one day the United States will want to know the details of the Kiev regime's spending. In addition, the US president noted that in the future Washington will stop paying for weapons for Kiev, they will be purchased by European countries, notes "Газета.Ru ".
On July 23, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a significant part of the funds received by Ukraine for the purchase of weapons from the United States and European countries had been stolen.
