Nevsky Prospekt, the main street of St. Petersburg, is being prepared for large-scale repairs, according to the work plan, which will begin on August 3. This was reported by the Delovoy Peterburg newspaper on July 23.

The repair period will be one month, and it will last until September 3. The cost of the reconstruction project is estimated at 461 million rubles. Acceptance of applications from companies that would like to complete the work will end on the public procurement portal on July 25.

According to the plan of the customers — the Committee for the Development of transport infrastructure and Mostotrest — structural elements and manholes of sewers on Nevsky Prospekt should be repaired. It is also planned to lay asphalt pavement and apply fresh markings.

In early July, the press service of the State Administrative and Technical Inspectorate of St. Petersburg clarified that repair work on Nevsky Prospekt would take place on the section from Admiralteysky Prospekt to Vosstaniya Square.
