The United States has concluded "perhaps the largest" trade deal with Japan, according to which Tokyo will invest $550 billion in Washington's economy and pay a 15% duty to the United States. This was announced on Tuesday, July 22, by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

"We have just concluded a major deal with Japan, perhaps the largest deal ever concluded. Japan is investing, on my instructions, 550 billion dollars in the United States, which will receive 90% of the profits," he wrote on the Truth Social network.
