Serbia is being forced to abandon visa-free travel with the Russian Federation

Britain and Germany are demanding that Belgrade cancel visa-free travel and direct flights to Russia, a source in the Serbian government told Izvestia.

Western countries are interested in worsening relations between Belgrade and Moscow, Dragan Stanojevic, head of the National Assembly Committee on Diaspora and Serbs in the region, a member of the We are the Voice of the People faction, tells Izvestia.

"Germany and the UK want to put Serbia under full control, despite the fact that they already control most politicians and the government," the politician added.
