In the Alyonushka camp of the South Ural Railway (YuZhD) in the Chelyabinsk region, 28 children went to doctors complaining of feeling unwell. This was announced on July 22 in the press service of the organization.

"On the night of July 22, 28 children felt unwell and sought help at the medical unit of the Alyonushka children's health camp, where a pediatrician and a nurse are on duty around the clock. Five children have been sent to the hospital," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the sick children were placed in the medical isolation unit of the camp, they are receiving the necessary assistance. The camp management decided to end the shift ahead of schedule, and the money for the vouchers will be refunded.

According to the press service, the preparation of the camp for the arrival of children was carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of medical and sanitary-hygienic provision of recreational recreation and fire safety. It is noted that before the opening, the camp also received a conclusion from Rospotrebnadzor on compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards.

On July 18, it was reported that an outbreak of acute intestinal infection was detected in the children's health camp "Eaglet" in the Saratov region. It was clarified that during the investigation, experts took samples of drinking water and water from open reservoirs, as well as samples of food raw materials, foodstuffs and ready meals. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region has opened a criminal case into the poisoning of children and camp staff.
