The essence of the draft law "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Military Duty and Military Service" and Article 11 of the Federal Law "On Alternative Civil Service" is to streamline the work of draft commissions and make it more effective. "We decided to separate the activities related to conscription. That is, passing a medical examination, psychological professional selection and arrival at the admissions office, we assume, must be carried out within a year. According to the parliamentarian, this initiative will improve the quality of the work of draft commissions. In addition, distributing the flow of conscripts for the whole year will reduce the number of complaints and will be beneficial primarily to citizens who are subject to conscription, the deputy believes.
