As a result of an accident on the highway in the Gorodishchensky district of the Volgograd region, five people were injured. This was announced on July 22 in the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"According to preliminary information, on July 22, 2025, a Hyundai and Ravon car collided on the 40th km of the Volgograd-Kamensk–Shakhtinsk-Lugansk highway," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the drivers of the vehicles and three passengers were hospitalized. Traffic police officers are working at the scene, as well as an investigative task force. Reverse traffic is being carried out on the section of road where the accident occurred.

Earlier that day, the state traffic Inspectorate of the Irkutsk region reported that seven people were injured in a car collision on the Alexandrovsky Tract. According to the agency, two drivers and five passengers were taken to a medical facility.
