The acceptance of the new school began on Omskaya Street in Krasnoyarsk

The acceptance of a new school, built on Omskaya Street, has begun in Krasnoyarsk. The Department of Urban Planning announced this on its page on the VKontakte social network on Tuesday, July 22.

"The day before, the construction supervision service commission started working. The school will be accepted within 10 days," the message says.

During this period, specialists will check the building for compliance with the design documentation, whether the necessary checks and examinations have been carried out in it, and whether all communications are connected.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the Omsk school is designed for 1,1 thousand places. The building has gyms, an assembly hall, a medical unit, a food hall, a library, a carpentry workshop and a woodworking room, a sewing room.

The school is scheduled to open on September 1, 2025.

On the same Day of Knowledge, four schools and two lyceums will open in Krasnoyarsk after major repairs. Studies will begin in lyceums No. 2 and 11, as well as in schools No. 42, 45, 53, 82.
