Izvestia newspaper is the leader of the print media rating in June

Following the results of the first month of summer, Izvestia newspaper topped the TOP 10 most cited federal publications. This is evidenced by the data of the Medialogia company.

The Izvestia Citation Index (CI) in June was 2,322.95, which is almost 2 times higher than its closest competitors. The newspaper Kommersant is in second place (CI: 1,256.62), and Rossiyskaya Gazeta is in third place (CI: 725.69).

The most popular topics in June were the news that Russia plans to double the fee for obtaining a driver's license, as well as the fact that the Prosecutor General's Office supported the ban on real estate transactions for cash. Izvestia also reported on the collapse of a bridge in the Bryansk region.

Izvestia has consistently maintained its status as one of the most influential and sought-after media outlets in Russia, remaining at the center of the information agenda.
