Seven people were injured in an accident in the Irkutsk region.

Seven people were injured when two cars collided on the Alexandrovsky Tract in the Irkutsk region. This was reported on July 22 in the regional State traffic Inspectorate.

"The 29-year-old driver of a Toyota Aqua car, following from the city of Irkutsk in the direction of the Veseloe village, when turning left, did not give an advantage to the 23-year-old driver of a Toyota Axio car and collided with him," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that as a result of the accident, two drivers and five passengers were taken to a medical facility. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

Earlier in the day, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Orel region reported that a woman died and her child was hospitalized as a result of an accident on a highway in the Livensky district.
