Cooperation between Russia and Arab countries covers a wide range of fields, including politics, economics, and culture. A trusting dialogue and diverse mutually beneficial cooperation with each of the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as multilateral associations operating in the Middle East, is being significantly strengthened.

"Russia and the Arab countries continue to successfully and consistently expand scientific, educational, humanitarian, and interregional contacts. Bilateral trade and investment ties are showing steady positive dynamics, developing in many key areas. Russian companies are grain suppliers to a number of countries in the Persian Gulf, the Middle East and North Africa, work in the oil and gas sector and engineering, enter the Arab markets with new projects in the fields of tourism, agriculture, natural resource extraction, supplies of the latest Russian-made machinery and equipment, and make targeted investments. I am confident that the initiatives of the Russian-Arab Business Council will serve to further expand the most sought–after forms and areas of mutually beneficial cooperation with the business community of the Arab world," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.

In accordance with paragraph 4.2.1 of the Regulation on the Russian-Arab Business Council and pursuant to paragraph 2 of the Order of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation dated July 1, 2025 No. 52 "On Approval of the Model Regulation on the Business Council for Cooperation with a Foreign State", Sergey Gorkov was appointed chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council.

"The Russian-Arab Business Council is doing useful work to ensure a direct, meaningful dialogue and practical cooperation between the business communities of Russia and the states of the vast region of the Middle East and North Africa. Over the years of its existence, RADS, founded in the early 2000s on the initiative of the outstanding statesman and orientalist Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov, has done a lot to establish mutually beneficial business contacts, develop and diversify trade and investment exchanges, as well as to develop and implement promising projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, energy, transport and communications.. I am confident that the active joint work of the members of the Russian-Arab Business Council will continue and will contribute to the further development of relations between the business communities of the participating countries," said Sergey Gorkov, the new chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council.
