In the village of Magdagachi in the Amur region, a 16-year-old teenager driving a truck hit a seven-year-old girl who ran into the roadway. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The hit-and-run occurred on Monday, July 21st. According to preliminary data, the child suddenly ran out of a roadside store and ended up on the roadway, where he was hit by a Toyota Dyna car.

As a result of the accident, a seven-year-old girl was seriously injured. She was hospitalized in a medical facility.

According to PriamurMedia news agency, a 16-year-old teenager was driving the truck. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

In total, 334 road accidents occurred on the country's roads over the past day, in which 44 people were killed and 423 injured. The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry told Izvestia that 36 of the dead were passengers and drivers.
