The State Duma announced the death of MP Mikhail Tarasenko.

Mikhail Tarasenko, deputy of the State Duma, member of the Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, died at the age of 77. This was announced on July 22 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin at the plenary session.

"Let's honor the memory of our colleague, comrade, who has worked with us in this hall since 2007. He passed away today. You know who I'm talking about, Mikhail Vasilyevich Tarasenko. He was ill, seriously ill, and the disease turned out to be stronger," Volodin was quoted as saying by TASS.
