European states have gone berserk and form part of the "international condemnation" towards Russia. This was announced on July 22 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Europe has gone berserk, I can't find another word, even a pun suggests itself — they are now part of the international condemnation of the Russian Federation," he said during a press conference following talks with Mozambican Foreign Minister Maria Lukas.

According to him, the European side strongly suggests to its peoples that Russia is an eternal enemy and an existential threat. He stressed that statements are also being circulated on the continent that the Russian Federation will allegedly launch an attack on Europe in the near future.

As a result, as the minister noted, the leaders of the countries forget about social problems, failures in the economy, the process of deindustrialization and strive to invest all funds and taxes exclusively in the militarization of Europe.

At the same time, the Russian Foreign Minister pointed to the constant instigation by the West of the Kiev regime to continue provocations, terrorist attacks against civilian targets and civilians of the Russian Federation. He stressed that the relevant actions will be adequately rebuffed.

"Any attempts that the German Defense minister is threatening us with now, for example, by declaring that we will be ready to kill Russian soldiers, the statement by the NATO leaders that they are about to preemptively crush the Kaliningrad region, probably sends a very disturbing signal to any normal, I emphasize - a normal person. what plans are being made in Brussels, Berlin, and Paris and London, of course," the minister added.

Earlier, on July 20, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed to attempts by the European Union (EU) to conduct concentrated work in order to present Russia as a fiend of hell and create an image of a doctor. He clarified that in this way the association wants to ensure the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict in order to try to suppress the Russian Federation.

On July 18, Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, commented on the words of Christopher Donahue, General of the American army in Europe and Africa, about the Kaliningrad region, saying that Russia would immediately respond to any threats from the West.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said on the same day that the words of the head of the German Defense Ministry, Boris Pistorius, about the readiness of German soldiers to kill Russian soldiers indicate that NATO countries have "gone berserk." She recalled that it was the countries now part of NATO that had attacked Russia in the past.
