Nowadays, many people suffer from cognitive impairments. This was stated by Anna Bogolepova, MD, Professor, Head of the Center for Cognitive and Psychoemotional Health of the FMBA of Russia, at the Izvestia News Center on July 22 during the press conference "Advanced domestic developments for the treatment of brain diseases", dedicated to World Brain Day.

The digitalization of society, the large flow of information that the brain must process and analyze, as well as multitasking and a high pace of life leads to the fact that a person cannot cope with the flow of information, so violations appear.

"This leads to anxiety and depressive disorders, which can lead to a distortion of reality. All this served as the basis for the creation of the center for cognitive and psycho—emotional health almost a year ago, where there is not only treatment for cognitive impairment, but also prevention," Bogolepova noted.

On June 16, Suna Isakova, an oncologist at the Sberbank Health medical company, told Izvestia about the non-obvious symptoms of a brain tumor. According to her, brain tumors are detected annually in 25 people out of 100 thousand. About a third of cases turn out to be malignant.
