A summit of the leaders of the "Nuclear Five" countries is not yet required, since in Europe there is only a policy of militarization and escalation of tension. This was announced on July 22 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Now, obviously, there is no ground for holding such a summit, we see a line towards escalation of tension, towards militarization, including nuclear," he said at a briefing.

In addition, Peskov stressed that at the moment the relevant Russian agencies are monitoring the situation and are working on formulating tasks to ensure Russia's security.
