Five people were injured in an accident in the Baikal region of the Republic of Buryatia. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the region on Tuesday, July 22.
"According to preliminary data, 1.5 km from the village. A Subaru Forester car driven by a 45-year-old driver and a Gazelle driven by a 41—year-old driver collided in Tataurovo," the report said.
All five victims were in Subaru. One minor was injured, among others. Currently, all the victims are receiving the necessary medical care.
Traffic police officers are working at the scene, and all the causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
Earlier, on July 21, it was reported that four people, including two employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, were injured in an accident in the city of Fokino, Primorsky Krai. According to preliminary information, the driver of a Honda Insight car, driving from a secondary road to the main one, did not provide an advantage in traffic to a patrol car of the State Traffic Inspectorate and collided.
