US President Donald Trump has said they are ready to re-strike Iran's nuclear facilities if necessary. He wrote about this on his Truth Social network on June 21.

"[Iranian] Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on the Iranian nuclear facilities: "The damage is very serious, they are destroyed." Of course, it is as I said, and we will do it again if necessary! "— said in a message from Trump.

The American leader sent this post in response to a message from Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi about serious damage after the US attack on the Islamic State's nuclear facilities.

Earlier in the day, Araqchi said Iran was not ready for direct talks with the United States. At the same time, he stressed that if the American side is ready for a mutually beneficial solution, then Tehran is open to negotiations. Prior to that, on July 16, Trump expressed the opinion that Iran "desperately" wants to resume negotiations with the United States.

On July 19, Trump announced that the United States would destroy new Iranian nuclear facilities if they were under construction.
