American actor Malcolm Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica

American actor Malcolm Warner has died at the age of 54. He drowned off the coast of Costa Rica while on vacation. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper on July 21.

"Warner accidentally drowned off the coast of Cocles Beach near Limon, Costa Rica <...>. The alarm said that the two men had been swept out to sea by a strong current. One of them was rescued and taken to the hospital in critical condition," the publication says.

Warner was born in 1970 in New Jersey. He studied to become a director and, in addition to working in films, shot various music videos. The actor became famous for his role as Theodore in the sitcom The Cosby Show. He was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
