The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has declared the activities of the German non-governmental organization Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Gesellschaft analyse und politische Bildung (Rosa Luxemburg Foundation) undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported on the agency's website on July 21.

"Founded in Germany in 1990, the foundation has branches and representative offices all over the world. The purpose of existence is political and public education, promotion of international understanding," the publication says.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the foundation is actually engaged in the implementation of programs and projects aimed at creating protest sentiments. It also contributes to the radicalization of young people and the discrediting of Russian government authorities.

In addition, the organization distributes materials from foreign agents, foreign and international NGOs, whose activities are considered undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation.

On July 11, the Ukrainian charitable foundation Army SOS was added to the list of foreign and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) whose activities are considered undesirable in Russia. In addition, the Norwegian Helsinki Committee (Den Norske Helsingforskomité) was added to the undesirable list.
